Christina Murphy

Christina's love of nature and concern about protecting our natural world led her to an interest in the Sunshine Community Compost. Christina was raised in Florida, growing up in Clearwater and moving to Sarasota in 2005 to attend New College of Florida. She has her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and her Master's degree in Applied Psychology with a focus on Counseling. She is currently Development and Membership Officer for Mote Marine and previously worked for over a decade in the Sarasota County School system. In her spare time, Christina loves hiking, running, and photographing our beautiful local landscapes and wild.
